Brand Kiona Publishing, Inc.
The Weihe glider plan is 1/4-scale size and the plan is drawn by Martin Simons. It is patterned after a single-place full-scale glider that first flew in 1937 that was designed by Jacobs and Schweyer. The full-scale glider won many national and international championships between 1938 and 1950, including the height gain of 9665 meters. The model features a 177-inch wingspan when finished. It is a built-up balsa, plywood and spruce model, with miscellaneous hardware required.
