Plan - 1340 Rhonbussard
The Rhonbussard is a vintage glider plan that is 1/4-scale size. It is designed after a single-place full-scale glider, the Schleicher Rhönbussard. It was typically known as the DFS Rhönbussard and intended as an intermediate glider trainer, which could also be flown competitively. It was designed by Hans Jacobs in Germany in the early 1930s. More than 200 were built. The model has a wingspan of 140 inches when finished. It is a built-up balsa, plywood and spruce model, with miscellaneous hardware required.
