The Grunau Baby IIb glider plan is 1/5-scale size. It is designed after a single-place full-scale glider that was first built in Germany in 1931— more than 6000 were built around the world. The model has a wingspan of 105 inches when finished. It is a built-up balsa, plywood and spruce model, with miscellaneous hardware required.
