The Oberlerchner Mg 19 Steinadler (English: Golden Eagle) is an Erwin Musger designed two-seat tandem trainer glider. It was built in Austria and first flown in 1951. Several examples of this successful aircraft, which competed in the two-seat class at two World Gliding Championships in the 1950s, were still flying in 2000. The Mg-19a glider plan is 1/5-scale size. It is designed after the two-place full-scale glider. The model has a wingspan of 138 inches when finished. It is a built-up balsa, plywood and spruce model, with miscellaneous hardware required.
