The Let LF-109 Pionyr was a glider aircraft developed by Czechoslovak manufacturer Let Kunovice. It was designed as a two-place training aircraft, with its first flight being in March 1950. The glider featured a robust design of a fabric-covered steel tubing fuselage, and had good flight characteristics. In total, about 470 aircraft were built. The LF-109 Pionyr glider plan is 1/4-scale size. It is designed after a two-place full-scale glider. The model has a wingspan of 142 inches when finished. It is a built-up balsa, plywood and spruce model, with miscellaneous hardware required.
