Plan - 1610 de Havilland DH.88 Comet

The de Havilland DH.88 Comet is a twin-engined British aircraft designed for the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race. Three DH.88s participated in the race, with one winning. The type set many aviation records during and afterwards.This plan is for a sport electric-powered low-wing airplane, twin-motor powered model. The model features a 46-in. wingspan and is 31 inches long. It was originally designed for Speed-400-size motors, but would be perfect for 3- or 4-cell LiPo power. The model uses built-up construction of balsa, spruce and plywood, with a film covering.
